Being situated in a highly sensitive area with nearby residential development, the Beaufort School required a floodlighting system which has the smallest impact on the surrounding environment.

Floodlighting at Beaufort School
In combination with the 10m T107RLH base hinged columns, all maintenance is carried out safely and quickly at ground level.
Abacus were able to provide such a system with its Challenger® 1 floodlight and black cowl, which guaranteed absolutely zero upward light and hence minimal disturbance in the neighbourhood.
