Electrical Engineer
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering Department, to work on various lighting installation projects. The electrical works consists of electrical installation design, control systems and control panel general arrangements. The role involves giving technical support to our sales team and discussing issues with our customers.

Key Skills & Qualification Requirements:
  • A minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering qualification, or approved equivalent will be considered.
  • Some Experience with CAD is advantageous.
  • A strong passion for engineering and the ability to demonstrate a desire to build a career within the industry.
  • Excellent communication skills..
  • A full drivers licence.
  • Experience in MS Office Suite Software.

The role of Electrical Engineer will consist of:
  • The completion of projects including the preparation of works specifications and AutoCAD drawings.
  • The use of Amtech software to complete cable calculations.
  • Pre-installation site surveys.
  • The completion of technical reports.
  • The programming of PLC's and HMI's.
  • Research and development of new products and services.

Shifts and hours of work:
Mon – Fri - 08.30 to 16.30
This is a developing role, therefore the right candidate will have the opportunity to grow within the company as an Electrical Engineer.

Maintenance Electrician
An excellent opportunity to be part of a Maintenance Team maintaining and testing a variety of external lighting systems including sports lighting, high masts systems and street lighting columns across our clients sites throughout the UK.

What we are seeking:
  • Electrician with time served Electrical apprenticeship.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical grade.
  • BS 7671 17th Edition IEE Regulations certified.
  • C&G 2391 - Inspection & Testing an advantage.
  • IPAF qualified an advantage.

Qualities and Abilities:
  • You must be an electrically biased engineer with experience of working in an installation and maintenance environment. Mechanical background an advantage also.
  • A proven history of installation, commissioning, fault finding, rectification and experience of maintenance techniques.
  • Inspection and testing experience.
  • Logical approach to breakdown analysis (fault finding / problem solving), pro-active maintenance and improvement work, who can demonstrate a sense of urgency whilst never compromising safety or quality of workmanship.
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Flexibility is essential in this role.
  • To be Self-motivated, responsible, able to work well as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • High standard of health & Safety awareness, and the ability to read and follow RAMS strictly.
  • A good knowledge of practicing continuous improvement techniques (desirable) and a pro-activeness for improved ways of working offering possible solutions to problems.

Shifts and hours of work:
Mon – Fri - 07.30 to 16.30 (average 45 hours per week with overtime)
Some weekend working may be available – overtime rates apply.
