Export Sales Controller
The above vacancy has arisen at our export office to provide shipping and administration support for overseas sales and deliveries.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of all ROW / Europe shipping and banking documentation and complete liaison with all external bodies involved, specifically: Letter of Credit, Certificate of Origin and EUR1.
  • To prepare ROW / Europe quotations for all overseas customers.
  • Ensure all quotations are accurate in all aspects and are issued in line with the agreed target dates.
  • To ensure export procedure documents are followed and updated where applicable and report on the status of quotations to the Export Operations Manager.
  • Recording data on the appropriate SAP and CRM system.
  • To acknowledge receipt of enquiries identifying the proposed return date of all our information.
  • To liaise with overseas customers, distributors and sales agents.

Requirements and Experience:
  • Proven previous experience with export documentation is essential.
  • Previous sales administration experience using a CRM system.
  • Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Word.
  • A high degree of communication skills for internal and external customers at all levels.
  • Language skills would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Firm, polite and confident approach when dealing with people.

Shifts and hours of work:
Mon - Fri - 08.30 to 16.30 total 37.50 hours per week.

Maintenance Electrician
An excellent opportunity to be part of a Maintenance Team maintaining and testing a variety of external lighting systems including sports lighting, high masts systems and street lighting columns across our clients sites throughout the UK.

What we are seeking:
  • Electrician with time served Electrical apprenticeship.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical grade.
  • BS 7671 17th Edition IEE Regulations certified.
  • C&G 2391 - Inspection & Testing an advantage.
  • IPAF qualified an advantage.

Qualities and Abilities:
  • You must be an electrically biased engineer with experience of working in an installation and maintenance environment. Mechanical background an advantage also.
  • A proven history of installation, commissioning, fault finding, rectification and experience of maintenance techniques.
  • Inspection and testing experience.
  • Logical approach to breakdown analysis (fault finding / problem solving), pro-active maintenance and improvement work, who can demonstrate a sense of urgency whilst never compromising safety or quality of workmanship.
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Flexibility is essential in this role.
  • To be Self-motivated, responsible, able to work well as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • High standard of health & Safety awareness, and the ability to read and follow RAMS strictly.
  • A good knowledge of practicing continuous improvement techniques (desirable) and a pro-activeness for improved ways of working offering possible solutions to problems.

Shifts and hours of work:
Mon – Fri - 07.30 to 16.30 (average 45 hours per week with overtime)
Some weekend working may be available – overtime rates apply.
