Regional Sales Executive (London & Greater London)
A vacancy exists within our Field Sales team to cover the London & Greater London area. We require a Sales Executive who will be responsible for the sale of Abacus Lighting Products in the designated area within the UK.

The candidate would ideally be based in London or surrounding areas.

The role will involve generating sales, building and extending an existing customer base and promoting and developing new business potential to achieve annual sales targets and promote the Abacus brand awareness. It is desirable for the candidate to have a sales background, selling to a market of Consultants, Contractors and Architects preferably for exterior lighting. Experience within the Rail sector is preferable but not compulsary. Product specific training will be given within the company.

The candidate must have the ability to work in a team and be a self-starter.

Electrical Design Engineer
A vacancy exists within our Electrical Design team. We require an Electrical Design Engineer who will be involved in the preparation of the company electrical schemes and will also provide technical support to the sales team.

The position will suit someone who has:
• Competency in electrical installation, inspection and testing.

• A current 17th edition certificate.

• 2391 certificate or equivalent.

• CAD experience, preferably AutoCAD, with ability to understand and produce company standard electrical drawings. This is desirable but not essential.

• Electrical design software experience, preferably Amtech. Desirable but not essential.

• The ability to produce clear and concise electrical reports.

• Full driving licence with the ability to travel throughout the UK and internationally when required.

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

• The ability to work as part of a team and when required have the ability to make decisions and complete tasks on their own.

• An awareness of industry standard electrical installation practices and components.

• The candidate must also possess a high degree of accuracy, have the ability to work in a team whilst being able to focus on and work to deadlines.
