Shanghai Abacus has been a real success story, seeing growth in sales, not just via export to Europe, Africa and Asia, but also within the Chinese market itself. Recent lighting and mast installations have included: Chek Lap Kok Airport, Shanghai Pudong International Airport, Hong Qiao Airport, Wai Gao Qiao port, Dalian Sea Port, Mission Hills Golf Course, Zhangjiajie Hehua Airport, Jing Jin Highway, Ji-Qing Highway (Shandong Province) and Hong Kong Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground - the main venue for this year’s east Asian Games.

Our lighting combines the latest technology with the best in lighting design to keep light pollution to a minimum, helping to safeguard the future of China’s night skies. We feel we are helping to build China’s infrastructure, opening up the country to further growth and connectivity with the rest of the world by air, sea, road and rail.

The team at Shanghai Abacus has grown from 30 people to 110 employees, covering all aspects of design, manufacturing, sales and administration. Many employees have been with us since the start.

The Abacus name is synonymous with quality and products from our Chinese factory are of the same high standards. We have invested in training and manufacturing development. The factory has the quality standard BS EN ISO 9001:2008 and the environmental standard ISO 14001:2004.
