WALKWAYS
Walkways provide protection from the sun, wind and rain whilst moving between buildings or waiting for transport.
Having designed, manufactured and installed walkways at airports, transport terminals and commercial locations around the UK, we offer experience and expertise to deliver your project on time and in budget. Among more recent projects, Abacus has installed major walkway structures at both John Lennon Airport, Liverpool and Stansted Airport.
We take into account every aspect of a site, be it changes in direction or a sloping site. We offer enclosed, cantilever or gull-wing designs among others; the permutations are endless.
To ensure your specification is met, our design team can prepare concept drawings for comment or approval; once you are satisfied with our design and project plan we continue to produce manufacturing drawings and specific structural calculations, taking into account site location and conditions.
Additional requirements may also be identified. Among others; full or part glazing; different roof styles and varying spans; seating; rainwater goods; a variety of accessories can all be incorporated.
Capital outlay is always a consideration, and with many of our components being common or interchangeable, we are able to offer a competitive package for your project.
