THE CHALLENGE

The college already had an existing floodlighting system in place, However, they were after an LED alternative to ensure maximum efficiency and performance.

THE SOLUTION

  • 12 x 1.5k Challenger 1 LED floodlights

Abacus completed an LED re-head on the old installation, installing 12 Challenger 1 LED floodlights to achieve a 200 lux average with 0.6 uniformity. All existing infrastructure was retained as part of the retrofit works.

The new floodlighting brings significant benefits to Oathall Community College’s sporting facilities, ensuring enhanced visibility and optimal lighting conditions.

They also offer energy efficiency, reducing electricity consumption and lowering operational costs for the college. Additionally, LED floodlights have a longer lifespan, resulting in reduced maintenance and replacement requirements.
