THE SOLUTION

Abacus Lighting performed an LED re-head of the existing HL330 masts

  • 16 x 1.5kW Challenger 1 LED floodlights

Abacus supplied and installed our new Challenger 1 LED floodlights and performed a full re-head on the existing HL330 masts, with all existing infrastructure retained as part of the works. The new floodlights achieve a 200-lux average with 0.6 uniformity.

The new state-of-the-art floodlights are designed to provide a bright, even illumination across the entire playing field, enhancing the rugby experience for everyone involved.

The lighting system is energy-efficient and environmentally friendly, using LED technology to minimize energy consumption and reduce the club’s carbon footprint. It is also designed to minimize light pollution, ensuring that the surrounding community is not affected by excessive glare or disturbance.
