Challenge
Hemsworth Miners Welfare is a football club based in West Yorkshire. They are currently members of the Northern Counties East League Premier Division and play at the Fitwilliam Stadium.
Abacus first became involved with the club back in 2008, installing the original masts and floodlights. The lighting installation consisted of 6 x 15m HL250 base hinged masts, and 16 x 2kW Challenger 1 floodlights.
The club recently installed an artificial surface on the pitch, and were after a cost effective solution for the floodlighting system, due to the fact the usage was going to double from the previous season.

- 12 x 1.5kW Challenger 1 LED floodlights
Our new Challenger 1 LED floodlights were retrofitted on to our existing base hinged masts.
By upgrading the lighting system, the club now meets FA ground grading criteria for new installations.
