Challenge
Retford United Football Club was founded in 1987, and have had many successes over the years playing in various leagues. The club now hosts a First team, Reserves team and Under 21’s thanks to these successes, and the backing of the local community.
The club already had an existing lighting system, supplied and installed by Abacus. They were looking for a suitable LED lighting solution to upgrade to, whilst retaining the base hinged HL250 masts
Solution
- 14 x Challenger 1 LED floodlights on existing HL250 15m masts
Challenger LED floodlights were retrofitted on to the clubs existing HL250 masts. The new floodlights provide high performance LED lighting, and instant start up ensures play can begin immediately.
Switching from conventional floodlights to LED ensures a longer life span of the floodlights, alongside increased energy efficiency and environmental performance.
