Trinity School & Performing Arts has embraced cutting-edge technology with the installation of state-of-the-art LED floodlighting by Abacus Lighting, marking a significant upgrade to their sports pitch illumination.
Abacus conducted ultrasonic non-destructive testing on the foundation bolts, ensuring the structural integrity of the installation. The in-house mechanical design department further bolstered this effort by performing a comprehensive structural survey, ensuring that the foundation could withstand the demands of the powerful lighting system.
Notably, Abacus Lighting’s transformative project involved the removal of 12 outdated 2kW HID floodlights, making way for the installation of Abacus Challenger 1 LED floodlights. This shift represents a significant advancement in energy efficiency and lighting technology, offering Trinity School & Performing Arts a brighter, more sustainable, and cost-effective solution for their sports pitch.
