The Abacus range of counterbalance units is perfectly suited to allow for flexible choices for cost efficiency for every scenario.
Light duty columns can be operated with spring counterbalances as a more cost-effective solution for lower quantities, whilst the hydraulic version can also be used and is ideally suited to larger quantities especially where column sizes and headloads are mixed.
Medium and Heavy duty columns are operated by hydraulic units, again with options available for the most cost-effective solution.
Counterbalance units can be purchased as required or alternatively Abacus also offers the hire of units for when this is a more cost-effective solution.
All persons must have completed an Abacus training course relevant to the unit this will be using prior to operation. Training can be booked via our main sales office so please get in touch.
The spring unit, type RLS168, is available in a range of coloured springs. Each spring type has a given capacity, based on the column height and maximum safe working load.
